Christian World Business Exchange is committed to fostering a partnership between local churches and local businesses, and believes that this partnership should go far beyond the scope of a financial transaction.
Traditionally, churches have seen themselves as competing with the business world for the hearts and minds of entrepreneurs. But for churches to be relevant in the 21st century, this perception must change. Around the world, the blue-collar workforce is being automated out of existence. The new business world is filled with highly-educated, self-motivated, and often self-employed professionals.
Pastors can minister effectively in this new workforce by embracing the gifts and callings of its professionals instead of minimizing them. Churches will spread the gospel much more effectively by releasing a flood of marketplace ministers into the world instead of asking them only to fund our missionaries and ministries.
Christian World Business Exchange hopes to help pastors better understand and minister to professionals that God has place within their sphere of influence. Every local CWBE chapter will be sponsored by a local church, and the leadership of each chapter will consist of a pastor and business leader. Pastors will have access to ministry resources and ideas through CWBE, as well as exposure to the international network of businesses and services included in the CWBE portal.
